iVeew Travel Messaging Provider Names Tnooz Co-Founder & Former Phocuswright Chairman Gene Quinn Executive Chairman & CEO

November 7, 2018, AVON, Colorado, USA – iVeew, Inc., a messaging and merchandising technology for hospitality, air travel and tours & activities providers, today named Tnooz Co-Founder and former Phocuswright Chairman Gene Quinn as the company’s Executive Chairman, CEO and member of the Board of Directors.

iVeew is introducing its mobile-for-web messaging platform that enables hotels, airlines and their marketing alliances and other travel marketers to connect to their travel customers in the most personable way with the most indispensable device – their smartphone.

iVeew’s system is a white-label platform that brands and promotes the hotel, airline or other travel marketing client as the merchant.

Tom Griffin, iVeew Founder & President, has developed the messaging platform with a team of developers and industry advisers in conjunction with hospitality and air travel marketers. iVeew will debut its Guestext™ guest messaging platform and Merchandising Engine this fall and will soon announce installations with hotel and air partners.

“We are delighted to have Gene Quinn join our team and help guide iVeew’s launch and growth,” said Griffin. “Gene has deep experience in digital travel, media and financial services. As an investor and advisor at Phocuswright and co-founder and CEO at Tnooz, he knows the business and consumer rhythms of travel e-commerce and the technology that enables it.”

“Gene’s experience will help propel our strategy of delivering hotels, airlines and other partners a seamless solution for connecting their businesses and travelers via messaging at the best time in the travel process – whether before, during or after the journey,” said Griffi. “We are all about connecting the guest seamlessly to their desired interest and using a world-wide messaging platform to accomplish this goal.”

Tours and activities will grow to an estimated $183 billion segment of the global travel industry by 2020, according to Phocuswright research. These “experiences” are provided by local experts well-known by local and regional hospitality, air and tour operators who are eager to better engage with travelers and find new revenues for their own businesses.

“The internet processes transactions much better than it handles high-touch merchandising,” said Quinn. “Mobile messaging is personal, and it’s the connective tissue that can engage travelers and deliver more individualized offers for travel experiences.”
